It’s officially too hot to fish! It’s also too hot to fight…. Fight fire that is! Great work to our response partners from Medford Fire Department and Deer Creek Fire Department on their quick response to a grass fire east of Medford. A quick attack made fast work of getting this blaze extinguished. Miller EMS units 111 and Medic 1 responded to provide medical stand by.

Deer Creek Fire Department (Grant County) made quick work of a car fire early this morning. One minor injury was reported. No patients were transported. Excellent work by our response partners at Deer Creek Fire!

Tonight, the Miller EMS family mourns the loss of Paramedic Jules Curry. A former Miller EMS paramedic, our team watched Jules advance her career from EMT to Paramedic. She was always willing to lend a hand to her fellow team member. Our thoughts are with our MEMS family, the Norman Regional EMSSTAT family, and all of Jules friends and family. Thank you, Jules, for all you did for this team and those we serve.

Rural EMS hits different! Grant County crews were required to do a little off-roading recently in order to access a patient in the middle of a field after a motor vehicle crash.

Great work to our crews and our response partners - Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Medford Fire Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and Caldwell EMS.

It was a busy day for our Crescent and Grant County crews as they supported our fire department response partners on hay field fires in Logan and Grant Counties.

Excellent work by Crescent and Marshall Fire Departments in Logan County and Pond Creek and Hawley Fire Departments in Grant County. Miller EMS is proud to serve beside these men and women in our mission to protect lives across Oklahoma.
