Join us for our Rosemary: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter Book Club, presented by Bridging Communities and The Arc Jackson County!
Rosemary: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter by Kate Clifford Larson tells the story of Rosemary Kennedy, whose intellectual disability was kept hidden from the public during a time of stigma and misunderstanding. Through history and storytelling, the book explores Rosemary’s life, her family’s experiences, and the broader impact of societal attitudes toward people with disabilities. It is a powerful reflection on family, advocacy, resilience, and the importance of dignity, inclusion, and belonging.
