Scam Alert! We're seeing a lot of new scam comments on our page. The comments ask people to click a link to get an ODHS “alumni” T-shirt. The link leads to a scam Facebook post. It says that money from T-shirt sales will help pay for a “big event” for ODHS. It also promises that, if you order a T-shirt, you'll get "exclusive" final event details.

This is not real. Do not click the link or give out your financial or personal information, including your Facebook login information.

We are working to remove these comments as they appear. If you see one on our page, please report it to Facebook.

The Oregon Department of Human Services and 211info continue to work together to support people affected by wildfires.

Starting on August 15, 2026, 211info will be available every day, including weekends, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific Time to help with wildfire and clean-air related information and support. We will update this post when these hours change.

The statewide wildfire assistance hotline (1-833-669-0554) will remain open 24/7. You can use this hotline for help with ongoing and long-term needs caused by wildfires and smoke.

Remember: Call 911 only if you have an emergency. For example - if:
- You are in immediate danger;
- You have a medical emergency;
- You need urgent help evacuating.
