On June 6th, 2025, MTPOA Members Lange, Sims, and Scheer participated in the 2025 New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Jersey. They ran alongside other Burlington County agencies and were escorted by MTPOA Treasurer Kostue on the motor.

On April 18, 2023, Patrick Hickey (Badge #25113) was officially sworn in as a Police Officer with the Medford Township Police Department. Patrick grew up in Marlton New Jersey where he enjoyed playing hockey, soccer, and baseball; most notably playing on Team USA in the 2016 World Junior Ball Hockey Championships. Patrick attended Cherokee High School where he graduated in 2015 with Honors and Technology awards. Patrick began his college studies at Burlington County College, later graduating in 2019 from Rowan University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice pursuing his goal of becoming a law enforcement officer. In March of 2021, Patrick was hired by the Sea Isle City Police Department as a SLEO II where he worked for one summer. In February of 2022 Patrick was hired by the Medford Township Police Department as a SLEO II and then ultimately appointed the position of full-time patrolman.
