After extensive discussion between the Chiefs and Officers of the Medford Fire Department, it has been decided that Engine 13 will officially be converted from a water-carrying apparatus to a soft serve delivery unit. We appreciate the public’s support during this exciting transition.

🚨❄️ HYDRANT SNOW CLEARING CONTEST! ❄️🚨

After the snowstorm on 2/22/26, we need your help keeping our community safe!

The Medford Fire Department is asking residents to shovel 3 feet around a fire hydrant near your home. Clear three feet in all directions so our firefighters have quick and easy access in an emergency. Seconds matter!
