🥕 The garden harvest just keeps on giving! 🌱

We received another generous donation of fresh vegetables from one of our neighbors, and we also just harvested more produce from our own Cultivating Justice Garden!

Our free produce box is stocked and ready for you. If you could use some fresh vegetables, stop by Media Fellowship House and take what you need! 💚

🥒 The cucumbers are coming in! 🌿

Our Cultivating Justice Garden has produced plenty of fresh cucumbers this week, and we're excited to share them with our community! Stop by Media Fellowship House and check our free produce box while supplies last.

Looking for a simple way to enjoy them? Try this refreshing Cucumber & Parsley Salad using fresh parsley from the garden!

🥗 Easy Cucumber & Parsley Salad

2–3 cucumbers, thinly sliced
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice (or white vinegar)
Salt and pepper to taste

Toss everything together, chill for 15–20 minutes, and enjoy! It's the perfect light side dish for a summer meal.

🌞 Join Us for an Evening of Food, Friends & Community!

Can you believe we've been hosting these community potlucks for almost two years? What started as a simple idea has grown into one of our favorite monthly traditions. We've shared delicious meals, welcomed new faces, built friendships, and strengthened our community—all around the table. We'd love for you to be part of it!

Join us on Thursday, August 20th from 5:30–7:30 PM at Media Fellowship House for our monthly Potluck Porch Party.

*In the event the weather is too hot, we have an air conditioned room that we meet in.

This month's theme is Summer Sides, so bring your favorite side dish to share! Whether it's a family recipe, something fresh from your garden, or a dish everyone loves, we can't wait to try it.

This is a family-friendly event for all ages. Bring the kids, invite a friend, or come on your own—you'll always find a warm welcome and great conversation.

We're also excited to have our friends from the Park Avenue Community Center joining us to lead a fun art activity for everyone to enjoy!
