The Mid-County Democratic Committee (MCDC) represents Democrats living in Edgmont, Middletown, and Upper Providence Townships in Delaware County, PA. The committee members of MCDC are dedicated to recruiting, supporting and electing Democrats to local offices. Committee members support candidates for municipal councils (Edgmont, Middletown, and Upper Providence), school board (Rose Tree Media), an

d Magisterial District Judges within our municipalities. We also support municipal candidates for Auditor, Tax Collector, and Constable. We are building a strong infrastructure for progress, and we welcome all residents who want to make a difference and get involved in local politics.

While most people are soaking up the summer sun, Reps Krueger, O’Mara, and Borowski have been busy bringing home wins for Mid-County ☀️🏖️

Last month they joined a bipartisan majority to pass the $50.8B 2026-2027 state budget—coming in $2.5B under the Governor’s proposal with NO new taxes and zero withdrawals from our rainy-day fund! 💰

From funding Delco hospitals and local schools to upgrading state parks, roads, and increased funding for local teachers, schools and first responders, this budget works hard for our community. Enjoy the rest of your summer knowing good work is getting done! 😎🖐️

Resident safety is the utmost priority for the democrat-led Township Council. They have heard updates about the effort to build a multi-municipality Delaware County Emergency Services Authority as well as plans to improve pedestrian safety!
