It’s been a busy few weeks for the Media Democrats! 💙

We’ve had the privilege of joining our community at some incredible events, including the 🌈 Delco Pride Parade, 🇺🇸 the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Flag Day Ceremony in Newtown Square, 🚗 the State Street Car Show, and 🏃 the Media Five Mile Race.

Each event was a reminder of what makes Media and Delaware County such wonderful places to live: a strong sense of community, a commitment to service, and neighbors who come together to celebrate, support one another, and honor our shared values.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, participants, and attendees who make these events possible. We love showing up, connecting with residents, and celebrating everything that makes our community special.

🇺🇸 On Monday, Media Borough gathered to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country during our annual Memorial Day ceremonies.

While the weather moved the event indoors to the Towne House, the spirit of remembrance, gratitude, and community remained just as strong. Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and helped ensure this important tradition continued despite the rain.

Memorial Day is a reminder that freedom comes at a cost, and we are grateful to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. ❤️🤍💙

🖊️ Great Petition Signing Event in Media! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our candidates and help get them on the ballot. It was a fantastic turnout and a great reminder of the energy in our community! 💙

If you haven’t signed candidate petitions yet, there’s still time! Stop by the Delco Dems Office:

🕙 Saturday: 10 AM–12 PM
🕔 Sunday: 5 PM–7 PM

Petitions will be available through this Sunday — and it only takes a few minutes to sign.

Monday night was a proud moment for Media Borough as seven newly elected officials were officially sworn in — including our new Mayor Joi Washington, five Borough Council members: Emilia del Grosso, Taylor Dunn, Jen Malkoun, Mark Paikoff and Elizabeth Romaine, and our Tax Collector, Katey McVerry.

Thank you to everyone who came out to witness this important milestone and to celebrate the leaders chosen to serve our community. Your support and engagement make moments like this possible.

Congratulations to all who took the oath of office. We wish you the very best as you begin your terms — the work starts now, and Media’s future is in good hands.❤️
