This is a paid internship position being offered to a full-time high school or college student with a strong interest in natural resource management. Hannah Molz is set to make her presentation on Kansas Fence Law at the annual meeting of the Barber County Conservation District on January 31, 2026, at the Community Center in Hardtner. Dinner is served at 6 PM. Be sure to make reservations by January 28th.

The public is invited to attend the Barber County Conservation District 76th Annual Meeting at the Community Center in Hardtner, KS. A catered meal will be provided by the banks in Barber County, poster and bankers conservation awards will be presented, and District FY 2025 activity highlights are all part of the evening's activities. BCCD is hosting its 39th Spring Wildflower Tour on May 10. Registration begins at 8:30 AM at the Medicine Lodge High School cafeteria. $25/adult covers the cost of a continental breakfast, transportation to two plant identification sites, and a hearty barbeque lunch - kids 12 and under, $15.
