Chippewa Lake Area Water System Update – August 12, 2026 - 7:00 PM

The Medina County Sanitary Engineer’s Office is pleased to report that water pressures have normalized throughout the Chippewa Lake service area, and all known water main breaks have been fully repaired.

Crews have continued to monitor the system to ensure reliable water service has been restored.

The boil advisory has been officially lifted for all customers in the Chippewa Lake service area. Staff is presently hand-delivering notices to the affected properties informing them the water boil advisory has been lifted.

All customers may resume normal use of their water, including drinking, cooking, bathing, and other household activities.

If you experience any further loss of water pressure or have questions regarding the water system, please contact the Medina County Sanitary Engineer’s Office at 330-723-9585.

Medina County is experiencing widespread electrical outages affecting several County facilities, including:

• Jobs & Family Services
• Veterans Services
• Human Service Center
• Engineering Center and Building Department
• Medina County Fairgrounds

Chippewa Lake Area Water System Update – August 10, 2026 – 9:00 PM

The Medina County Sanitary Engineer’s Office is pleased to report that water pressures have normalized throughout the Chippewa Lake service area, and all known water main breaks have been fully repaired. Crews remain onsite to monitor the system and are prepared to respond immediately should any further disruption of service occur.

The boil advisory remains in effect only for customers who received a boil advisory notice that was hand-delivered to their property.

These customers should continue to follow the instructions provided in the boil advisory notice until they receive notification from the Medina County Sanitary Engineer’s Office that the boil advisory has been officially lifted.

Customers who did not receive a hand-delivered boil advisory notice are not currently under the boil advisory.
