Update 3:10pm: The truck and trailer have been removed. Mostly the road is clear but a couple crews remain cleaning the water way. Continue to travel with caution.

Crews are working to recover a pickup truck from Mallet Creek in the 7200 block of Norwalk Rd. Please use caution and avoid the area if possible.

UPDATE: Road is open again, use caution as crews wrap up the clean up.

Columbia Road just north of Norwalk Road is closed as crews recover a semi truck in the ditch. Avoid the area and find an alternate route.

Update: If the weather does not cooperate the Memorial Service will be held in the fire station bays.

Reminder of possible delays on Norwalk Rd. (Route 18) today around 3:00pm as the community travels to the cemetery to honor the fallen. Please be patient and allow extra time if traveling through the area.

The Erhart Firefighters Association hosted its first-ever car show on Sunday, bringing in about 150 vehicles and raising money to support the department's needs.

❄️ Winter Storm Preparedness Update ❄️

With a winter storm expected to impact our area, the Fire Department has increased staffing over the weekend and will be staffed overnight Sunday to ensure quick response to emergencies and weather-related incidents.

We encourage residents to:
• Limit travel if conditions deteriorate
• Keep walkways and driveways clear when safe to do so
• Check on neighbors, especially the elderly or those with medical needs

Our crews are ready and prepared to respond as needed. Please stay alert to weather conditions and stay safe during the storm.

Good evening everyone! This very sweet girl was found on Emerald Run trying to get into a residents house and was brought to us. We had a lot of fun giving her lots of pets and cuddles.
