Horses listen and understand.

Yes, horses listen to and understand. They pay close attention to body language, tone of voice, breathing, and emotional energy.

If you’re a veteran or first responder, we offer free equine assisted mental health & wellness services to you. If you’re a civilian, we have an option for you to pay a donation fee that goes into our programs to help care for the therapy horses care.

Please consider a deserving rescue that has no chance, without your help! Don’t encourage breeders to keep breeding. The Summit County Animal Control and Shelter is in desperate need of your help! Don’t you think these beautiful animals deserve your loving and forever home? Thank you!

Why are horses so helpful in mental health? Listen to the Horses for Mental Health commercial and hear from our veteran friends Roberta, Lee and Chris and others explain why. Our therapy horse Doc is also featured in it!

Nice job!

This weekend we were blessed by a visit from Dr. Divya Sadaram who travelled all the way from Texas to offer healing services here Amber Acres. While Dr. Divya worked on several humans, her students came to the barn and worked on our horses.

As a medical doctor, Dr. Saradam understands the physiology, chemistry and anatomy of the human body and how it correlates to ailments. She uses transformative healing modalities and is now a professional light worker and holistic healer.

Michele and the herd needed some healing and we are so grateful Divya understood this and made the journey back to Ohio!

💚 She offers virtual sessions and can be reached at https://passionhealings.com

We are overwhelmed with gratitude to all of our supporters that came out tonight to help us celebrate our veterans and horses during our first annual Veterans Harvest Fest. Thank you to our vendors, resource table presenters, volunteers, and the community that braved the rain and cold temperatures to share the evening with us!
Congratulations to our chili cook off winners, Carly, Sheila and Janet!
Congratulations to Angela S. For being the winner of the 50/50!

With all of your help we raised $1,123 in just 3 short hours. This will support 11 veterans in a 2 hr equine assisted session, while also supporting the heart and soul of our programs- the therapy horses.

A special word of gratitude to the Medina Veteran Memorial Hall for hosting us! 🇺🇸🐴

Last night Doc was gifted an equine massage from our volunteer Cindy, who is now a certified equine masseuse! Doc, a previous race horse has a sway back and arthritis; and he was very happy to be Cindy’s first “client.” Thank you to Cindy and congratulations! We understand how hard you worked to obtain this achievement!! We have no doubt that many horse clients are in your future!

Eagle Scouts making a difference!
A tremendous word of thanks to Colin and Joel Hanna and everyone at Troop 380 Copley for your donation of this amazing gazebo build!
Many veterans, first responders and children will be protected from the elements in the future as we utilize this gazebo during events and sessions.
The group hand dug the pad, wow! Making sure to level it perfectly. Assembled and built the gazebo. Colin and his team did all of the fundraising to make the magic happen!
Feeling Grateful! This is the 5th build we’ve received from the Eagle Scouts over the years!

Thank you to our buddies Nelson and John T for your assistance !
