💚 MMHA staff proudly participated in Green Day at the end of May in recognition of both Mental Health Awareness Month and Affordable Housing Month.

As an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their path to stability, we were honored to help raise awareness for two issues that deeply impact the people we serve every day. Together, we’re working to build a healthier, stronger and more supportive community for all.

A few weeks ago, volunteers from Heartland Community Church returned to Next Step Up for their second year of service, helping beautify the property by planting flowers and spending time with our Guests.

The day concluded with a BBQ and meaningful conversations, creating opportunities for connection and community. We are grateful for Heartland Community Church continued support and commitment to making a difference at Next Step Up.

Recently, we attended the Medina County Commissioner's meeting to give an update about Next Step Up. Since February 2025, we've served 285 individuals experiencing housing instability.

• 16 people have secured lease agreements this year
• More than 20 individuals have successfully self-resolved their housing situation
• An average of 6 people each month are finding sustainable employment

These milestones are possible because of the support of our community, partners and dedicated staff who help individuals take the next step toward stability.
