The Link Day Program is a social, recreational, and educational day program provided by The Society to adult individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities. The Link Day Program is a social, recreational, and educational day program that provides new and meaningful experiences to adult individuals with developmental disabilities with primary emphasis on the development of skills that f

acilitate community integration. Focus is placed on employment development as well as leisure interest allowing the individuals to be broadly prepared for living a quality life in their chosen community.

- Follows a curriculum-based model offering courses in art, music, computers, cooking, physical fitness, community awareness, vocational skills and more.

-Courses focus on individuals’ interests with an emphasis on personal growth, employment skills and community involvement.

- Courses instructed by highly-trained staff, along with professionals in the areas of music and aquatics for programs like music enrichment taught by a licensed music therapist. Individuals also volunteer at their local Aktion Club, a Kiwanis program for adults with disabilities, and on the Square in Medina in collaboration with Main Street Medina.

Our second group had an amazing day at the Metroparks Cleveland Zoo!

We enjoyed getting outside, seeing all of the incredible animals, exploring the zoo and making great memories with our friends! From big animals to little creatures, there was so much to see and experience.

We had a great time thrift shopping while practicing some important financial skills! Our group worked on budgeting, making spending choices and thinking about the value of the treasures we found.

Today our first group visited Highland Acres Farm LLC. We had so much fun meeting the animals and getting up close and personal with some of the cutest, friendliest cows! We all made a new friend today! Our second group can’t wait to visit!
