The regularly scheduled Village board meeting on October 9th, 2017 is being scheduled for Monday October 16th, 2017 at 7pm due to the federal holiday.

07/27/2017

To all Medora commuters, due to the attempted destruction of the newly implemented speed bump on Main Street the Village is blocking parts of Main Street until the issued can be resolved. That process due to the current weather may take a couple days, we apologize for the inconvenience.

07/27/2017

Medora Residents and the surrounding community, for those of you who are unawares a speed bump was put in on Main St. late yesterday after noon. Medora residents came to our board meeting in May requesting we do something about the constant speeding up and down Main St. The board voted and approved rumble sticks, however, with the current budget shortfalls the Village cannot afford the expense. We understand this may frustrate many, and for that we apologize. The safety of our residents and their children are top priority. Your complaints will be taken into consideration, and we will work to improve where we can. We have had several requests for speed bumps throughout town, and if we continue to see the speed limit signs disobeyed, more speed bumps will be put in. Everyone needs to pay more attention to the speed limits that are posted.
