An applicant’s date of birth;

What’s a Workforce Center?

So glad you asked! A workforce center is a free place provided by Colorado’s labor department for people who are looking for work (new, better, or different) to come learn about what opportunities our out there. Not sure what you’re good at? We’ve got assessments galore. Wondering how to earn more money? We can show you trending jobs, and explain what kind of upskilling will lead to a boost your earnings. Recently laid off, and navigating Unemployment for the first time? We’re the local resource. Want to head back to school? Come talk to us, we can help with that too. Wherever you are at in your career--seasoned professional, or just getting started--we have an array of (free!) tools and resources that can help you with the next step. Our staff are certified workforce professionals who can coach and guide you on your journey, and best of all, they are locals with local expertise. No other app, website or job service can offer what we have, so come check us out!

The workforce center also supports businesses in finding talent. We have a cracker jack business services team that can help you parse labor market data, analyze hiring trends, and offer insight into the local workforce. In addition to sponsoring education opportunities year around (think, “How to use foreign labor” or, “Legislative changes for HR professionals”), we can help you with skill-based hiring, on-the-job training, getting an internship program up and running, and more. Call your local WFC to speak to a business service rep and get started today!
