IMPORTANT VENDOR NOTICE — PLEASE READ
We have been made aware that someone is contacting individuals interested in participating in the 2026 Meeker Pumpkin Festival and requesting payment.
We have NOT approved any vendors yet, and no vendor payments are currently due.
Vendor applications are still being reviewed. This year's Harvest Market is being curated, and submitting an application does not automatically mean that a vendor has been accepted.
If you applied:
Do not send payment to anyone until you receive official notification that your application has been approved and payment instructions are provided through the Meeker Pumpkin Festival.
If someone contacts you requesting payment before you have received an approval from us, please do not pay them. If possible, take a screenshot of the message or email and send it to us so we can keep track of what is happening.
We are reviewing the situation now and appreciate everyone who brought it to our attention.

If we can get the leadership positions filled this week we will plan to make this happen.

🎃 HELP US BUILD THE 2026 MEEKER PUMPKIN FESTIVAL | OCTOBER

We have about 45 days, a big vision, and we're putting together the team to make this year's Meeker Pumpkin Festival happen.

This year, we want to give the festival a more distinctive feel: a European-style harvest market with an Oklahoma hometown twist.

Think Christmas market—but in October.

String lights, pumpkins, hay bales and corn stalks. Market-style vendor stalls. Long shared tables. Live music. Bratwurst, smoked meats, pretzels, c***r, baked goods and great fall food. A pumpkin patch and carving contest. Heritage demonstrations. Kids activities. Local makers and artisans. And, if permitting and logistics allow, a b**r and w**e garden where adults can sit down and stay awhile.

Friday, October 9 would kick things off with the Pumpkin Festival Parade, vendors, food and a street dance.

Saturday, October 10 would start with a 1-mile Parade of Pumpkins Fun Run/Walk, followed by a full day of the Harvest Market, food, entertainment, pumpkin activities and family events—with the goal of keeping some food, music and gathering spaces going into the evening when the string lights come on.

We also have an idea to use Homecoming as the unofficial kickoff to Meeker Pumpkin Season, encouraging businesses and residents to decorate and carry that fall atmosphere through the festival and toward Halloween—but the October 9–10 Pumpkin Festival is the main event we're building right now.

And we need people to help lead it.

We're looking for people willing to take ownership of:

• Vendors & Harvest Market
• Entertainment & Music
• Kids Area
• Pumpkin Patch & Carving
• Festival Decorating & Atmosphere
• Heritage Activities
• Parade
• 1-Mile Fun Run
• Pumpkin Royalty
• Sponsorships
• Operations & Setup
• Volunteer Coordination
• Guest Experience
• Safety & Logistics

You don't need festival-planning experience. We need people who are dependable, can own one piece of the event, communicate with the rest of the team and follow it through.

We'll also be opening applications for vendors, food vendors, makers, artists, bakers, farms, craftsmen, boutiques and community organizations that fit the atmosphere we're trying to create.

General event-day volunteers will be needed too—but right now we're looking for the people who want to help lead.

If that's you, comment below or send me a message.

Meeker Pumpkin Festival Update

We've had enough volunteers reach out to move forward with the next step.

Kickoff meeting is scheduled for Monday August 24th at 6pm

We've had several people ask if Ladonna's would be open for this meeting. It is not open for regular service, they have volunteered to allow us to host our meeting there.

If that changes we will let everyone know.

If you know Elliot and Lanny Blagg make sure to tag them so they can join us at the kickoff meeting, remind them and your neighbors to follow Market Meeker so they know what is coming up next.

Calling All Vendors, Sponsors & Community Organizations!

The 2026 Meeker Pumpkin Festival is coming together, and now it’s time to start filling Fowler Street!

We’re looking for vendors, food vendors, local businesses, community organizations, sponsors, parade participants, Fun Run participants, volunteers, and others who want to be part of this year’s festival.

This year, we’re building something a little different: an old-world-inspired fall harvest market filled with wooden market booths, pumpkins, lights, food, music, activities, community traditions and plenty of reasons to stay awhile.

Saturday, October 24, 2026
Downtown Meeker — Fowler Street
Festival: 9 AM–9 PM (time subject to change)

Whether you want to sell, sponsor, participate, volunteer, promote your organization, enter the parade, or join the Fun Run, head to the festival website and tell us how you'd like to be involved.

And please share this post. We especially want to reach local makers, farms, artisans, food vendors, churches, nonprofits, civic groups and businesses throughout Meeker and the surrounding communities.
Let’s fill Fowler Street.
