TEXT SCAM

We have been made aware of a text scam. People are receiving a text from a out of the country phone number. The content of the text says it is from the DMV and that you owe money. The text has a link and they want you to click on it.

Do not click the link. Immediately delete the message and block the number.

With all area schools starting next week, we wanted to remind you to watch for stopped school busses loading or unloading children. Deputies will be out watching and if you are caught passing a stopped school bus, expect to receive a ticket and a court date.

We also have a great group of School Resource Officers at our schools in the county. They are professional, proactive, and ready to help insure the safety of our kids.
