Student Government Association is an organization run by the student body for the student body. The Florida Tech Student Government Association (SGA) is a group of elected and appointed student representatives that meets regularly to discuss matters of importance or general concern to students. SGA acts as a liaison between the student body and the faculty, staff and administration by presenting p

roposals, programs, activities and resolutions that reflect the tenor of the student body's opinion. SGA is the medium through which students can comment and discuss issues affecting the student body, make recommendations for improving student life and contribute to the greatness of our university.

-Our meetings are every Wednesday in p133 at 8:00pm

-Come to a meeting to make some suggestions, learn about current events, and help become active with the Florida Tech community.

-You can also make suggestions by using our electronic suggestion box at sga.fit.edu, and stay updated by checking out minutes which are regularly sent out to the Fitforum list server.

Florida Tech Rocketry Club will be having retired Navy Captain and former NASA astronaut Winston Scott as a guest speaker on the 4th of October in Florida Tech. He is a two time shuttle astronaut and a well of experience for anyone. Food is provided! We look forward to seeing you there!
