Congratulations to Criminal Court Clerk Heidi Kuhn, who was honored by the Shelby County Board of Commissioners for her accomplishments during her eight years in office and an extraordinary 27 years of service to Shelby County Government.

Her tenure has been defined by dedication, leadership, and a steadfast commitment to serving the people of Shelby County. As she prepares to conclude her time in office, we celebrate not only the work she has accomplished, but the lasting impact she leaves behind.

Please join us in welcoming our newest team members to the Shelby County Criminal Court Clerk's Office!

We're excited to welcome Nicole Cooper and Tanya Hayes to our team, and we're also pleased to welcome back Jeffrey Winston as a returning employee.

The three were officially sworn in by Judge Carlyn Addison (Division 5), and we look forward to the experience, dedication, and service they will bring to our office.

The Shelby County Criminal Court Clerk's Office was proud to host our 35th Expungement Clinic this past Saturday, continuing our commitment to helping eligible individuals move forward with a fresh start.

Over the past eight years, our office has helped more than 10,000 people expunge over 15,000 criminal cases. Each expungement represents more than a court record—it represents new opportunities for employment, housing, education, and a brighter future.

We are grateful to everyone who made this clinic a success, including our dedicated staff, volunteers, community partners, vendors, and host site. Most importantly, we thank the individuals who attended and took an important step toward removing barriers and building a stronger future.

The Shelby County Criminal Court Clerk's Office remains committed to expanding access to justice and providing resources that strengthen individuals, families, and our community. We look forward to continuing this important work through future expungement clinics.

For anyone looking for help in having their records expunged will have a free opportunity in the middle of July.

The Criminal Court Clerk's Office will be hosting their 35th Expungement Clinic and Community Resource Fair on Saturday, July 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church - Broad on Broad Avenue. https://fox13.tv/4wwh9UM

OFFICE CLOSURE: The Criminal Court Clerk's Office will be closed Thursday, July 2nd at Noon, in observance of Independence Day. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6, at 8 a.m.
