Rolling Up My Sleeves for the Community ❤️

One of the things I’ve always valued is serving through action. I had the opportunity to participate in a Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build, working alongside other women to help build something meaningful for a family in need.

For me, service has never been about simply showing up—it’s about being willing to roll up my sleeves, get to work, and be part of the solution. That same spirit is what I bring to everything I do, and it’s the spirit I want to continue bringing to the community I call home. 🇺🇸

What a great afternoon of conversation! ❤️

I truly enjoyed spending time with everyone who came out for my Meet & Greet and having real conversations about the town we all love—Clifton! The questions, ideas, and conversations made the afternoon meaningful, and I’m grateful to each of you for taking the time to join me.

Serving Clifton Didn’t Start With a Campaign. 🇺🇸

Since coming to Clifton, I’ve had the opportunity to become more involved in the community—not because I was planning to run for office, but because I genuinely wanted to be a part of the town I call home. It’s what I’ve always done: serve, contribute, and get involved wherever I live.

I’m proud to be involved with:

🌿 Rotary Club of Clifton
🏘️ Main Street Development Committee
🥾 Trail Town Development Committee
🎨 Clifton Artist Guild Organization
🤝 Clifton Chamber of Commerce

Honestly, I didn’t realize how much I had already become involved until I wrote it all down! 😂 But that’s what makes this feel less like a beginning and more like a continuation.

My decision to run isn’t a new direction—it’s the way I’ve always chosen to show up and serve. 🙏🏽

Now, I’m simply asking for the opportunity to serve in an even greater capacity. ❤️

CHOICES Program Facilitator for Youth (2014-2015)

One of the things I’ve always enjoyed about community service is pouring into young people and reminding them that their choices today can shape the opportunities they have tomorrow.

During my time in Missouri, I joined fellow Rotarians at Laquey School to speak with junior high students through a program called CHOICES.

We talked about making good decisions, staying on track to graduate, pursuing college or technical trades, and understanding that there are many different paths to a successful future.

Looking back at this picture, I’m reminded that community leadership isn’t always about having a title. Sometimes it’s simply showing up, sharing what you know, and helping a young person see what’s possible. ❤️

I’m not a career politician. I’m a community advocate and a proven business leader.

On a Trip Down Memory Lane…

One of my favorite things about looking back is being reminded that service has always been a part of who I am.

Pictured here from 2021, I completed the Memphis Grizzlies Youth Mentor Training Program, investing in learning how to better support and encourage young people in our community.

I’ve always believed that when we pour into our youth, we’re investing in the future of our communities.

Looking at this picture now, I realize I was doing something then that I’m still doing today: showing up, learning, serving, and trying to make a difference. ❤️💙
