We LOVE seeing those smiling faces on the first day of school! As families get ready to share their back-to-school photos, we also want to offer a quick reminder to think about how much personal information is included in your posts.

Those adorable first-day signs can sometimes share more than we realize! Before posting, consider leaving out or limiting details such as:
• Your child’s full name
• Teacher’s name
• School or bus information
• Age or birthdate
• Favorite places, activities, or other identifying details

Even when your own social media settings are private, photos can be saved, shared, or screenshotted beyond their original audience.

We absolutely want you to celebrate these special milestones — just take a quick look at what information is visible before you hit “post.” 💛💙

Field Day was a huge success! Students had a blast enjoying the beautiful weather, inflatables, games, and time with their friends and teachers.

A huge thank you to our amazing MEPC, all of our parent volunteers, Johnny Jumper Rentals, and Another One Bites the Crust for helping make the day so much fun.

Student Council, led by Mrs. Matyunas and Mrs. Leeman, and our Safety Patrol, led by Coach, are two of our most responsible, helpful, and dedicated groups of students who work hard to support everyone at Memphis Elementary. Yesterday, they enjoyed a well-earned end-of-year celebration field trip! 🐝💙💛

Thank you to our incredible MEPC for organizing and funding field day! It is going to be the best day! Please see their post below with reminders. 😊

ATTENTION 🆘🛑 Field day is tomorrow. Field day shirts will be coming home today! If your child is not at school today, they will get their shirt tomorrow morning to change into.
It’s going to be a beautiful day 🌞. Put sunscreen on your child before sending them to school!
Fill those water bottles and ensure their names or on them.
Volunteers arrive at 8am, sign in and meet in the upper elementary cafeteria. Field day starts at 9 so we have 1 hour to prepare. All games end by noon.
Only volunteers with a background check allowed. No spectators or younger siblings.
Please message us if you have any questions.

Memphis Elementary had some AMAZING Principals for the Day this May! Our students saved up their PBIS Bee Bucks and earned the chance to spend the day helping lead the school. From making announcements to visiting classrooms and helping around the building, these student leaders did a fantastic job!

A big shoutout to Principal Nixon, Principal Matthew, Principal Blake, Principal Mackenzie, and Principal Landon!

Our 5th grade artists completed pointillism projects inspired by Georges Seurat featuring their favorite drinks and candies! Mrs. Hulett treated the students with a party including all of their favorites 🍭🥤
