SCOTLAND COUNTY R-1 SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed proposals for the Scotland County R-1 Sidewalk Improvements Project will be received by:
Scotland County R-1 School District
436 W. Lovers Lane
Memphis, MO 63555
until 2:00 p.m. (local prevailing time) on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Project Description
The proposed work includes:
* Construction of ADA-compliant sidewalks and concrete pavement improvements.
* Improvements designed to enhance pedestrian safety and connectivity around the Scotland County R-1 sports complex.
Federal and State wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are included in the bid documents.
Contractor Requirements
The prime contractor is not required to be listed on MoDOT's approved contractor listing. Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction will be waived for this project.
The prime contractor shall perform, with its own organization, work amounting to not less than **30 percent (30%) of the total original contract price.

OSHA Training Requirement
Contractors and subcontractors who enter into a contract for public works projects must provide a ten-hour (10-hour) OSHA Construction Safety Program, or a similar program approved by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, for all on-site employees. Training must be completed within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the project.

A non-refundable fee of $100.00 per set will be charged. Checks shall be made payable to ADS. Shipping and mailing costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Bid Security
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to **five percent (5%)** of the total bid amount.
Reservation of Rights
The Owner, with concurrence from MoDOT, reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Award of Contract
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
