Our Mutual Aid Committee is putting the ‘social’ back in socialism!!

Join us on July 29 @ 6PM for a game night at Board to Beers! We work hard as a chapter, so it’s important that we take some time to relax. Why not spend some of that time with comrades? We’ll have a variety of leftist-tinged board games and all the good vibes you could ask for!

This past Saturday, Memphis-Midsouth DSA teamed up with Memphis Library Supporters to canvass the Cooper Young neighborhood in support of library workers! We had the opportunity to speak about the importance of civil servant status with community members and shared information on the upcoming ballot referendum. While it was only the first of many canvasses, this work is exactly what we will need to deliver library workers a win in November!

If you want to become a part of strengthening the multiracial working class, join us!! We have another canvass this Sunday, and will be hitting the pavement regularly between now and the vote. Click the link in our bio for more details!!

This weekend was a powerful showing of solidarity as members of the DSA from Memphis, Middle Tennessee, and New York City came to put in work for working-class wins!

We rallied and knocked doors for the Justin J. Pearson campaign and so Memphis Library Supporters can win civil service protections for Memphis library workers on the ballot this November.

The socialist movement is growing in this country because everyday working people like you are organizing together. If you've been thinking about getting involved, this is your sign to join the DSA today!

If you know anyone who needs to change their tail light, please let them know about our brake light clinic tomorrow! We’ll be changing brake lights totally free of charge, because we know all too well how easily pretextual stops can turn deadly for Black & Brown Memphians!

Memphis-Midsouth DSA’s mutual aid committee will be holding a brake light clinic this Sunday, July 19 from 1pm - 5pm at Gaisman Community Center! You can take an active role in decreasing police encounters with the community by helping us change brake lights for free. We’ve got the tools and the bulbs, all we’re missing is you!!
