KIPP Memphis Collegiate Schools now consists of 7 schools - 3 elementary, 3 middle, and 1 high. KIPP Memphis will serve 3,000 students in 2017-18.
KMCS students develop the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to become thoughtful, influential, and successful citizens in the competitive world. KMCS will raise expectations of public education in underserved communities by cultivating high-performing educational leaders and by serving as a model of excellence.
The mission of KIPP Memphis Collegiate Middle School is to empower each student with the knowledge, habits, academic abilities, and character strengths that will lead to the fulfillment of the promise of college attainment and a choice-filled life. Students are academically prepared for the rigors of high school and college, without sacrificing the middle school experience so connected to the Memphis community. At KMCM, kids want to run to school!
