Memphis Fire is hosting a Hiring Fair in the Chicago Land Area August 1-4. We will be interviewing candidates for the position of firefighter. HIGHLIGHT A HERO ⚡️

On January 14, 2022, Engine 29 and Rescue 2 responded to reports of a house on fire. Upon arrival, crews reported fire showing. While crews began firefighter operations, bystanders on the scene said people were trapped inside. Rescue 2 crew started a primary search. Rescue 2 Driver Eichelberger forced entry into the home found the victim, apneic, on the back bedroom floor. FFP Flecther and Driver Eichelberger moved the victim to the back door of the home. Unit 17 personnel performed life-saving measures while en route to the hospital.

Update: Due to the quick action and teamwork, crews were able to get the victim out of the residence safely and to the hospital.
