OUR COMMENT POLICY GUIDELINES
BRIDGES unites and inspires diverse young people to become confident and courageous leaders committed to community transformation. We are an independent non-profit 501(c) 3 and have no political or religious affiliation. Through the official BRIDGES page, we seek to better inform and engage our diverse community, and we welcome productive conversation and de
bate on methods for solving its complex challenges. However, our first priority must be ensuring this online environment reflects our organization’s core values of inclusion and respect. We therefore reserve the right to remove any comments we deem unsuitable for our page, and to permanently ban any user who repeatedly violates our posting policies. The following may be removed at the discretion of BRIDGES page administrators:
• Profane or obscene language or content
• Posts that promote, foster, or perpetrate discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability, or status with regard to public assistance
• Personal attacks or unsubstantiated accusations of illegal activity
• Threats of violence (which will be reported promptly to relevant authorities)
• Posts that violate anyone’s intellectual property right or any law or regulation
• Spam or unapproved advertising
• Comments revealing personal contact information other than that of the commentator
• Comments unrelated to the original post
