Did you know Polk County Library has a Little Free Library at our Hatfield Branch? Stop by to take a book, leave a book, and share the joy of reading with the community. Little Free Libraries help make books accessible for everyone and encourage neighbors of all ages to discover something new to read.

Whether you’re picking up a story for yourself or donating one to someone else, every book shared helps grow a love of reading in our community. 💚

Did you know you can access many early readers and decodable books for FREE through Libby with your library card?

These colorful Supersonic Phonics titles from Decodables by Jump! are designed to help children build confidence and strengthen reading skills one sound at a time. 🚀📖

Reading a little each day over the summer can make a BIG difference! Stop by the library if you need help setting up Libby on your phone, tablet, or Kindle device.

Plan to stop by the Ouachita Center, next Tuesday, May 12th, between 9 am and 2 pm, for BOOKSTOCK ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Featured authors will include Jen Crane, author of The Snipe Hunt; Silas Cross, author of Billy Bob Big Feet; and Holli Plunkett, author of Naughty Maggie.

Activities will include read alouds, author talks, and interactive literacy programs designed to inspire a love of reading for children and teens.
