The Mena School Board held a special meeting on Tuesday in the district administration building. The only item on the agenda was personnel.

The board accepted the retirement of Mena Middle School Teacher Stacy Swall effective June 30th.

The board also approved the hiring of:

Jessica Beck - Holly Harshman Elementary Special Education Resource Teacher.
Charity Mabry - Mena Middle School 6th Grade Science.
Celeste Ashcraft - Mena High School Principal.
