Happy day after Thanksgiving hope everyone had a good day,
Just a reminder to not plug in your heaters in little extension cords, on these cold mornings, and don't let you dogs play with lithium ion batteries, which can start a fire

I hope everyone is safe in this cold weather, some tips for this cold weather!

Don’t overload a extension cord, with space heaters,
Don’t put space heaters in to small confined places!
Watch your chimneys, when you have a hot fire, and burn one piece of evergreen a week, to help keep this suit down,
Try not to burn green wood ,
Be very careful with heat lamps , I’ve seen houses burn down, due to falling down on the floor

ATTENTION: THE INK FIREFIGHTERS WILL BE HAVING A FUNDRAISER FOR OUR CHIEF FAMILY JUNE 27TH FROM 10:00a.m.-2:00p.m. BETWEEN EDWARDS JONES BUILDING AND THE OLD BANK IN NORTHSIDE SHOPPING CENTER(OLD WAL-MART PARKING LOT). WE WILL BE SERVING PULLED PORK SANDWICHES AND CHIPS, COOKIE,& A DRINK OF CHOICE. THE COST WILL BE $8 OR DONATION OVER THAT AMOUNT TO HELP WITH EXPENSES AFTER A FARM ACCIDENT HIS SON WAS IN. OUR CHIEF HAS BEEN A PART OF COMMUNITY EVER FOR 30+ YEARS COME OUT AND ENJOY SOME OF LARRY DUNAWAY SMOKED PULLED PORK!!!
