Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day, the Menands PBA stands with our community in remembrance of our fallen heroes and in gratitude for the freedoms they fought to protect.

May we never forget those who gave everything for our nation. 🇺🇸

St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Holiday Safety Reminder

The Menands Police Department will have officers on duty throughout the village during the parade and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations to help keep our community safe.

To safely accommodate the parade, the following closure will be in effect:
• Broadway between Wolfert Avenue and Loudonville Road
• Saturday, March 14 – 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM (or until the parade concludes)

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, expect delays, and use alternate routes when possible.

If you’re heading out and plan to drink, make a plan before the celebration begins. Choose a sober driver, use a rideshare service, or arrange for a trusted friend or family member to get you home safely.

Before leaving home, take a moment to secure your property by locking your doors and keeping valuables out of sight in your vehicle.

As always, look out for one another while celebrating and help keep the festivities safe for everyone.

We wish everyone a safe, enjoyable, and happy St. Patrick’s Day!
