When life changed unexpectedly, David stepped into a caregiving role for his two young nephews while also raising his own son.

As he worked to create stability for the children after a period of loss and uncertainty, David was also navigating housing challenges of his own. Finding a safe, stable home became an important step in keeping his family together and moving forward.

LEAVEN helped with the financial barriers standing in the way, allowing David to focus on continuing the care and support he was already working hard to provide for his family every day.

Sean has always been someone who takes pride in figuring things out and helping others when they need it.

But when a major vehicle repair left him without reliable transportation, the financial strain made an already stressful situation even harder to manage. Like many people facing an unexpected expense, Sean was doing everything he could to stay afloat and keep moving forward.

LEAVEN helped ease part of the immediate burden so Sean could focus on getting back on stable ground and continuing to move ahead.

As we mark 40 years of LEAVEN, we honor our founder, Robert Udulutsch, with the dedication of Udulutsch Way, recognizing the vision that started it all.

Now, just outside our doors, there’s a quiet reminder of that mission and the people who carry it forward every day. 🩷
