Please see procedures about razing properties. Thank you!

Due to the emergency disaster no tearing down, or removal, of any building is allowed without first applying for and receiving approval of a raze permit.

The potential for serious injuries exists: all utilities must be properly disconnected before doing any demolition work. The acquisition of the appropriate permit is mandatory and must be obtained before any work is initiated.

Information about permits from the City of Menasha, City of Neenah, and the Village of Fox Crossing can be found below:

• Menasha- If an entire building (garage, shed, house) needs to be removed:

1. Contact Menasha Community Development for a Raze Permit at (920) 967‑3610.

2. Once the permit is granted, a licensed contractor may dismantle and remove the building at the homeowner’s expense. Reminder: Contact your insurance company before any work is done.

• Fox Crossing- If an entire building (garage, shed, house) needs to be removed:

1. Contact the Village of Fox Crossing Community Development staff to apply for a Raze Permit at (920) 720-7105

2. Once the permit is granted, a licensed contractor may dismantle and remove the building at the homeowner’s expense. Reminder: Contact your insurance company before any work is done.

• Neenah- If an entire building (garage, shed, house) needs to be removed:

1. Contact City of Neenah Community Development staff to apply for a Raze Permit at (920) 886-6130.
