Hey y'all,

We got a need right here in our own community. There's a single mama raising a special needs daughter, and they live on a disability check. Her home's had some electrical trouble—that's gettin' handled now—but her air conditioner went out, and her fridge needs replacing too. The wiring and fridge are bein' taken care of, so now we're just down to the AC.

We need a 220-volt window air conditioner—one strong enough to cool a small living room, dining room, and a little hallway. Summer's comin' fast, and we all know how bad the heat can get. We're askin' if anyone in the community can help donate one. We've got folks ready to hook it up and put it where it belongs. We just don't have the means to buy one ourselves, and we don't have a spare to give.

So if God puts this family on your heart, please reach out and let us know. We'd be so grateful for the help.

Alright y’all, here we go again.

Last time we were in need of a stove, y’all came through for us. Well, our men’s shelter is in need of another one. This current stove is throwing an error code that says “bad line” something to do with the voltage. So it’s done for. And the stove is what the men used to cook on every day to eat. ( got an update on what kind of happened I guess somehow someway there was a fire with the wire or something that went to one of the back burners that caused whatever happened to it) 

Here’s the truth: We’re saving every penny we can to add on to the shelter so we can house six more men. Right now, buying a new stove just isn’t in the budget.

So if anybody has an electric stove they could spare one you’d be willing to donate we would be so grateful.

Also, if you’ve got some simple yard work or small repairs that need done around your place, we’ve got a couple of good men who could come work for you to earn that stove. However you’d like to work it out, just let us know.

Big thank you to Samantha Lott and Collins Full Gospel Church in Collins for the fundraiser today benefiting Matthew 2540 Ministries.

We're in the process of raising the money to make an addition to our men's shelter so that we may be able to house six more men.

The songs were absolutely amazing—huge thanks to Collins Full Gospel Church for sharing their music, and to what I hope will become a part of Means of Grace's new worship team for their songs as well. And a big thank you to everyone who worked so hard cooking the food, getting everything prepared, serving, and just being faithful in all you did.

We love y'all. Thank you for your hard work and for pouring into this ministry.

Sunday was such a good day. Three amazing people finished our new members class and joined our church. They're already standing right next to us, serving God and our community, hand in hand. Each one of them is an absolute joy to be around and just an amazing person. And that wasn't even the end of our great day. Three more people stood up and decided to take the new members class as well, and they'll be joining soon. So all of us here at Means of Grace want to welcome them to our family. It's going to be such a pleasure serving with them in Matthew 25:40 ministries, loving our community and being the hands and feet of God. Seeing all this just fills my heart with joy.
