A unique DVD in the Mendocino Community Library is the 1944 film 'Frenchman's Creek' based on the book. Filmed on the river (which stood in for Cornwall, UK) Moyna McGill (the mother of & fame) acted in it, creating a unique connection btwn them on the coast. This film is unavailable to buy or watch online - so your local library is your only option to view it!
