We are excited to announce the launch of our UK Military Skills Translator created in partnership with Military.Com! The values and experiences of veterans play a key role in helping us achieve our mission of bringing the world closer together. The translator helps UK Armed Forces service leavers transitioning from military service navigate the opportunities at Facebook.

UK Veterans can now input their service, rank, and role in the Military Skills Translator to find Facebook roles relevant to their experience. This is the first tool of its kind for the UK and is customized to help map military experience with open Facebook opportunities. Try it out and apply here: fb.careers/veterans

We have also added a special “Interest” filter to help explore roles that not only align with your military job title but also with your career interests. Your results will find both roles that meet all that criteria and those that meet your military skill set.

All year long, the values and experiences of veterans play a key role in helping Facebook achieve our mission of bringing the world closer together. And each year, Veteran's Day gives our community the opportunity to recognize and honor all veterans. This year, our Facebook Vets and Allies resource group is holding special events focused on leadership and giving back to the community. Facebook locations across the country are helping out by providing teddy bears to children of deployed service members through Operation Gratitude. “At Facebook, we have a deep sense of civic responsibility that comes with building and operating a platform with over two billion users,” said John D., VP of Global Operations. “I’m proud of the former and current service members at Facebook who are carrying that obligation with the same commitment and spirit as when in uniform.”
