Join us at the library for a fun and fascinating program with Anne from the DNR!

Anne will be visiting on Tuesday, the 26th from 10:00–11:00 AM, and she’s bringing along a few special critters for kids to meet up close. 🐢🦉🦎

This is a great hands-on program for kids and families who love nature and wildlife. Don’t miss it!

☀️🏖️ Dive Into a Beach Adventure at the Menlo Public Library! 📚🌊

This summer, we’re inviting kids (and families too!) to join our Summer Reading Program full of stories, sunshine, and fun!

📅 June 1 – July 31

Earn prizes just by reading:
📖 Kids 5 and under earn 1 ticket for every 40 minutes of reading
📖 Kids 6 and up earn 1 ticket for every hour of reading
⭐ Earn extra tickets by joining community activities and participating in library events!

🎉 And that’s not all—we’ve got a summer packed with exciting events, including a FOAM PARTY you won’t want to miss! 🫧☀️

At the end of the program, all tickets go into our grand prize drawing on July 31!

Join us Monday, May 12 from 10:00–11:00 AM for a fun hands-on space adventure with Guthrie County ISU Extension! Kids will explore space science, build rockets, test parachutes, and more. 🪐👩‍🚀

A big thank you to Nancy Stringer for donating this wonderful book to our collection! 💛

Bella Bean on Blueberry Lane by local author Terri Stephens-Higgins is a heartfelt story that follows Bella, the wonder puppy, as she learns important life lessons and navigates tough days with the help of those around her. With a tender and meaningful message, the book reminds both children and adults that life is short—and that it’s always important to communicate and reach out for help, no matter your age or situation.

We’re especially grateful that this copy is signed by the author, making it an even more special addition to our library!
