Effective August 1st 2024
The minimum tipping fee to get rid of waste at the Adair County Landfill will now be $25 per load.

8:00am to 2:00pm to accept storm debris

The landfill will be open today 5-25-24 till 6:00pm to accept storm debris.
This is short notice on extending hours for the day we are also working on hours to be open tomorrow 5-26-24 I am not sure yet what the hours will be please check back here later today.

Thank you everyone that is hauling storm debris out for your help to the community and patience with us getting in and out while unloading at the landfill I know it is very congested here right now.

The Adair county landfill is NOT charging people for bringing in storm debris that has had the majority of tree and metal material removed from it!

The city of Greenfield is accepting clean brush/trees at the Adair county fairgrounds and at the normal city tree dump. Clean metal and appliances are being accepted at Adair County Secondary Roads Building. Free drop off sites for the debris for residents of Greenfield are currently being reviewed.

The landfill will be open till 6 tonight (Thursday), and tomorrow (Friday) 8-5
then Saturday we will be open 8-3 to accommodate those in need of getting rid of debris.

Greenfield residents: We are currently in the process of working with other state and federal government organizations to help with debris.. There will be sites set up in the city to take your debris to. The locations will have seperate areas for trees, construction debris, metal and household hazard waste. More information to come as details are worked out.
