🎉 Milestone Moments 🎉

Our employees have celebrated some big accomplishments recently!

👉Corrections Officer Bailey Baxter was recently promoted to the role of Sergeant. Bailey brings both energy and empathy to this role, and is already doing a great job with her expanded responsibilities.

👉Owen Chartier, a new hire in our Road Patrol division (and a familiar face to many north-end residents), has completed our field training program. Be sure to say ‘hello’ when you see him out patrolling!

👉Our sweet K9 Dina celebrated her 8th birthday and retired from active duty. Dina is enjoying retirement at home, where she spends her days laying in the sun and overseeing all human and animal activities.

Please join us in congratulating our employees on their well-earned accomplishments! We are grateful for their hard work and dedication to our department and our community.

EF-1 Tornado - OB Fuller County Park/Fox, MI

The National Weather Service denotes additional information could be incoming in future days that would add more detail to the existing tornadoes, or result in more tornadoes being confirmed, especially in rural portions of Menominee and Delta counties that were hard to survey due to forest density. Michigan now stands at 26 tornadoes on the year here in 2026.
