Subject: A Loss in Our School Community

Dear Families and Staff,

I am deeply saddened to share that one of our former students who had recently transferred has died following an accident that occurred Saturday evening. We have also learned that another former student was seriously injured in the same accident.

Our thoughts are with the families, friends, classmates, staff members, and everyone affected by this terrible news. A loss like this can have a profound impact across our school community.

When students return to school on Monday, additional mental health professionals and support resources will be available for any students or staff members who may need them. We encourage families to speak with their children about how they are feeling and to remind them that it is okay to ask for help. Students are also encouraged to reach out to a school counselor or another trusted adult at any time.

As our school community processes this loss together, we ask everyone to respect the privacy of the families involved. Please join us in keeping all those affected in your thoughts during this difficult time.

We recently had the opportunity to sponsor
A local teacher to clear their Amazon wish list. We were matched up with Pamela May in Menominee thanks to Great Blue Dental and their amazing contest.

As a teacher myself I know how much teachers spend of their own money making sure students have enough supplies and hands on learning experiences to make it more fun and engaging.

To all the teachers, educational assistants, school staff, and Pamela; have a great year and thanks for all you do!

L.E. Jones Company is proud to highlight the work of our college R&D intern, Blake Lafond, who recently presented his research on “Assessment of Materials Sulfidation Resistance.”
This research is especially important as the industry continues to explore alternative fuel engine applications, where material performance and durability are critical.
Blake's work is a great example of how we invest in the next generation of talent while continuing to explore solutions for the evolving needs of our customers. Great job, Blake!
