Our 2025 Annual Report is now available.

In 2025, our department responded to a record 5,747 calls for service, logged more than 10,240 hours of training, completed over 2,125 inspections, and continued important work in emergency response, prevention, public education, and Mobile Integrated Health. This report reflects the commitment of the men and women who serve our community every day and the partnerships that help make that service possible.

Thank you to our residents for your continued support. We encourage you to view the full annual report and learn more about the work happening behind the scenes and on the front lines.

It can be viewed or downloaded here:

Due to recent storms and flash flooding, some roadways have been affected and may not be passable. Identified roadways include:
- Bobolink at Kaul Avenue
- Lannon Road north of Silver Spring
- Grand Avenue at Roman Drive
- County Q (right lane) at Grace Commons
- Mill Road at Townline (due to down power line)
- Barricades have been placed in areas that should be avoided.

Further, the spillway at the Menomonee Falls dam has been cracked to alleviate high water levels upstream. That means downstream river levels and water currents have been impacted. Please stay clear of shorelines and stay out of the water.

Big thanks to Moore Construction for allowing us to train in the old Schwabenhof building these past few weeks. Opportunities like this are rare, and our crews have been putting in some serious work—running search and rescue scenarios, command drills, and firefighter rescue operations.

Next up: advancing hose lines.

Today is , a good reminder to charge lithium-ion battery devices on a hard surface and never on a bed, couch, or under a pillow.

Once it reaches 100%, unplug and move on. Don’t overcharge.

As warmer weather arrives, more people are spending time outdoors with family and pets around local ponds and waterways. This is an important reminder that ice conditions can change quickly and may still be dangerously unstable. What looks safe from shore may not support your weight. Please use caution, keep pets on a leash near water, and review the ice safety tips in these images.

The Menomonee Falls Fire Department would like to recognize the members of the Village of Butler Volunteer Fire Department (BVFD) for their service. Today, at midnight, BVFD is no longer in service.

Over several decades, the Villages of Menomonee Falls and Butler participated in an automatic aid agreement and helped each other at many emergency incidents (parades, training, and other events). We are grateful for their contribution and commitment to public safety.

So many firefighters have started their careers through Butler (including several MFFD firefighters and officers).

Thank you for your partnership, BVFD!

On Thanksgiving, we are grateful for those that we serve alongside... Fire Station #99 hosted Thanksgiving brunch and dinner for our fire fighters, police officers (1st and 2nd Shirt), and families. It was a great way to kick-off the holiday season.
