Please join Falls Area Food Pantry on Saturday, May 23rd from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Falls Memorial Fest. Thanks to our generous Knights of Columbus Friends, you will enjoy a great celebration and help the Pantry, Just donate four (4) food items or $5.00 & you “win” a ticket to Enter the Knights’ Lucky Ducky Derby Race! We will be located at Mill Pond Park near the concession stand. See you there!

Katty Wodushek, a “Pantry Angel” who was our longest serving director, recently left this life to join Heaven’s Angels. Kathy served Falls Area Food Pantry as our volunteer Director for 16 years. She was so soft-spoken and a friend to all. She and her family also did a great deal more than just give time, talent and heart. She and her husband quietly put their commitment into action. Kathy and Bob put their heart and soul in the Pantry and they did it with Love, Compassion and Care.

Pantry is truly what it is because of their hard work and devotion. Without their belief in the Pantry’s need to serve and expand, this organization would not be what it is today. We mourn her loss and remain eternally grateful to what she did to make the Pantry what it is today. We will also strive to honor her memory. Thank you also to Peiffer’s Piggly Wiggly, Menomonee Falls for its ongoing support and for asking the Easter Bunny to visit our volunteers during their Hot Dog stand that benefits the Pantry.

o EVERY business, civic or neighborhood group, book club, family and/or individual who donated in ANY way - small or large, THANK YOU for your TREMENDOUS generosity to Falls Area Food Pantry and those we serve. You have been a saving grace, not only for the past few weeks of uncertainty, but throughout our 42 year history. You made it possible for us to serve everyone who approached us for help. We are ALL extremely THANKFUL for each and every one of you!

Recently, Falls Area Food Pantry rolled out a new process of enhanced menu selection for in-car pickup on Tuesdays. Pantry clients can remain in their car as they pick up their twice-monthly selection of canned goods, produce, meat and dairy.

This allows clients to select from a menu of product options provided by a volunteer. After clients select their choices from a printed menu, a volunteer shopper gathers the requested items and packages them for the client to pick up as they advance in line.

The new system allows clients to be more in control and receive few products that they do not like. Clients still select their produce as their menu selections are loaded into their car.

The system is now fully implemented on Tuesdays and response to a client survey indicates that most clients prefer the new process. Volunteers likewise are happy to deliver the selected items instead of the prepackaged food as in the earlier system.
The Pantry still offers in-person shopping, with clients making selections from well stocked shelves every Thursday.

Clients can choose the convenience and privacy of their car or the personal experience and interaction from in-person shopping. In either case, the Pantry works to assure clients receive the food that they prefer.

Recently, Navico Group in Menomonee Falls won their corporation’s national Safety Award. They had a perfect safety record, going 1 million hours without an incident! In doing so, the company was given funds that they could designate to a charity of their choice. They chose to split the award funds between Falls Area Food Pantry and another local charity. THANK YOU to all their wonderful staff for not only creating such a safe work environment but also making such a generous gift that enables us to be a safety net for families experiencing tough times. We congratulate and thank you!

Congratulations to Linda Bonnell, Jeannine Matuszak and Vicki Roehsner. The Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation presented them with their “Shining Stars” 2025 award at their annual Ovation Event. The ladies were recognized for their dedication and generous commitment to Falls Area Food Pantry. Through their volunteerism, the organization is able to make a significant impact on our community. The ladies give countless hours of service and care to those we serve. We are all blessed to have them among us.
