The Bridge to Hope is currently in urgent need of NEW pillows for our shelter residents. A comfortable pillow may seem like a small thing, but it can make a big difference for someone seeking safety, healing, and rest.

If you are able to help, please consider donating new pillows and dropping them off at The Bridge to Hope anytime!

At The Bridge to Hope, we celebrate Juneteenth as a day of freedom, reflection, and hope. Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the strength, resilience, and contributions of Black Americans.

As we work to support survivors and build safer communities, we recognize the importance of acknowledging our history, celebrating progress, and continuing to advocate for a future where all people can live free from violence, oppression, and fear. β€οΈπŸ–€πŸ’šπŸ’›

A HUGE thank you the ROTARY CLUB OF MENOMONIE for their incredible generosity and support!

Thanks to their grant, our shelter now has a brand-new playset for the kiddos we serve. Not only did they provide the funding, but they also dedicated their time and hard work to assemble it for us.

We are so grateful for community partners like the Rotary Club of Menomonie who help create safe, joyful spaces where children can play, heal, and just be kids!

πŸ’œ Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day πŸ’œ

Everyone deserves to age with dignity, respect, and safety.

Elder abuse can include physical, emotional, sexual, and financial abuse, as well as neglect and exploitation. Together, we can raise awareness, recognize the signs, and support older adults in our community.

The Bridge to Hope offers Abuse in Later Life services for adults age 50 and older experiencing abuse.

If you or someone you know needs support, call our 24/7 hotline: 715-235-9074.

June is Pride Month.

At The Bridge to Hope, we recognize that LGBTQ+ individuals experience domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking at significant rates, while often facing additional barriers to support and services. Everyone deserves respect for their identity, relationships free from violence, and access to compassionate, affirming care.

This month and every month, we stand with LGBTQ+ survivors and remain committed to creating a community where all people can live safely, authentically, and with dignity.
