Our hearts are with the Colfax community, especially everyone at the Colfax Library, as they mourn the loss of Lisa, the Library Director.

We extend our deepest condolences to Lisaโ€™s family, friends, coworkers, and all those whose lives she touched through her kindness, leadership, and dedication to her community. Her impact will not be forgotten.

During times of grief and tragedy, it is important that we come together to support one another with compassion and care. Please continue to hold the Colfax community close in your thoughts in the days ahead. ๐Ÿ’œ

Mental health and experiences of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking are inextricably connected. Trauma can impact how people think, feel, sleep, trust others, and move through daily life. Survivors deserve support that recognizes both emotional well-being and safety.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage compassion over judgment, listening over assumptions, and support that is trauma-informed and survivor-centered. Healing looks different for everyone, and no one should have to go through it alone.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. At The Bridge to Hope, we know that healing from domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking is not just physical โ€” it is emotional and mental, too.

This month, we want to remind survivors and community members alike that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Healing takes time, support, and compassion, and we will be here when you are ready.

Remember:
You are worthy of safety.
You are worthy of support.
You are worthy of healing.
