Trump cares about billionaries, not everyday people. His Executive Order has allowed his CEO buddies to skip paying $40B in taxes in the last year - that's money that could be used to lower the cost of health care, support small businesses, and much more. It's crooked.

U.S. companies skirted at least $40 billion in taxes since the beginning of 2025 thanks to schemes in places like Malta, Bermuda and Cyprus.

Who should decide how Wisconsin protects its lakes?

Local communities like those in Dunn County? Or the billion-dollar wake boat industry and their lobbyists who are pushing statewide standards?

Rep. Clint Moses who represents Menomonie (Lake Menomin) and Chippewa Falls (Lake Wissota) is in the pocket of the billionaires.

This was the debate behind Wisconsin Assembly Bill 1033 that Moses helped advance in lockstep with his Republican leadership. Luckily, it won't see the light of day, but that doesn't change the fact that Moses supported a bill that would make it easier for outside interests to challenge stricter local protections in court - leaving local taxpayers stuck with the legal bills just to protect our lakes and fishing stocks.

Dunn County deserves representatives who fight for local communities first, not someone who just falls in line with big money.

Wisconsin Republican lawmakers have put forth dueling bills to regulate wakesurfing and operation of wake boats, one of which is receiving a hearing Wednesday.
