June in Wisconsin often brings rapidly changing weather conditions including thunderstorms, heavy rain, strong winds, and the potential for flash flooding. Staying aware and prepared is an important part of keeping our community safe during severe weather season.
Dunn County Emergency Communications 911 is available twenty four hours a day seven days a week to answer emergency calls and dispatch fire, law enforcement, and EMS when severe weather impacts our area. Dunn County Emergency Management works year round to monitor weather threats, coordinate with local partners, and share timely safety information before, during, and after weather events. From storm preparedness planning to response coordination, their goal is to help residents stay informed and safe.
As we move through the summer months, now is a great time to review your severe weather plans, know your safe shelter locations, and ensure you have multiple ways to receive weather alerts.
