Community Foundation of Dunn County

Community Foundation of Dunn County People who care. Causes that matter. Since 1995. Countless acts of generosity, small and large, have brought us to where we are today.

The Community Foundation of Dunn County was created in 1995 by a group of community members to promote charitable giving that would create a permanent source of capital to benefit and enrich the quality of life of everyone in the Dunn County area. What has been consistent is the strong desire to give back by the people who live here. We are truly YOUR community Foundation. The Community is where w

e work, where we play, where we raise our children, where we call home. Our community has given us so much and it is our responsibility to give back.

๐Ÿšฒ Happy Bike to Work Day! ๐Ÿšฒ

What better way to celebrate today than by congratulating Menomonie Area Mountain Biking (CORBA) as the winner of the Women's Giving Circle's Youth Philanthropy event at Menomonie Middle School, receiving $500.

Downtown Menomonie/Murals in Menomonie, and the Menomonie Theater Guild were also awarded grants of $250 each.

This initiative introduces 7th-grade students to the world of philanthropy and the impact local nonprofits make in our community. Students heard presentations from each organization and then voted on funding awards.

This summer, three beautiful flower baskets hanging in downtown Menomonie will carry special meaning thanks to a generous donation from Fazeโ€™s To***co through the GFWC Flower Basket Fund.

The baskets were donated:

๐ŸŒธ In honor of Sidney Bravo
๐ŸŒธ In honor of Sina Rous
๐ŸŒธ In loving memory of Denny Dirksen

These baskets help brighten downtown Menomonie all summer long while also serving as meaningful tributes to people who have touched our lives and community.

The GFWC Menomonie Womanโ€™s Club, in partnership with Downtown Menomonie, continues its long tradition of helping make Menomonie a more beautiful and welcoming place through the annual hanging flower basket project. From late spring through fall, these baskets add color, character, and community spirit throughout downtown.

Looking for a special way to honor or remember someone important to you? Donations may be made in honor or memory of loved ones through the Flower Basket Fund. Each basket costs $65 and helps support both the purchase and maintenance of the flowers throughout the summer season.

Make your donation here ๐Ÿ‘‰https://cfdunncounty.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=1108
