Today was one of those special days that reminds us just how fortunate we are to be surrounded by such incredible people. ❤️
We held our Annual Volunteer Luncheon today, a time set aside to celebrate and recognize the amazing individuals who so generously give their time, talents, energy, and hearts to make this place so wonderful.
And what an incredible year it has been. Together, our volunteers gave an amazing 9,979 hours of their time this past year! Think about that for a moment — 9,979 hours of showing up, lending a hand, sharing a smile, helping others, and making a difference. That is truly something worth celebrating.
But our volunteers are so much more than a number. Behind every one of those hours is a person who chose to give a little piece of their day to make someone else’s better. Each and every one of them brings something special to what we do, and we simply could not be more grateful.
We were also honored to have our City Manager join us and share a few words recognizing the important role our volunteers play in our organization and throughout our community. It made an already meaningful day even more special.
To every one of our volunteers: thank you. Thank you for your 9,979 hours of service, but even more importantly, thank you for the heart behind every one of those hours. Thank you for your dedication, your kindness, your generosity, and the countless ways you help make this place what it is.
9,979 hours. Countless lives touched. One incredible group of volunteers. ❤️
