We have reached a decision that there will be no meal delivery and no congregate services on Friday, January 19th in preparation for the winter storm that is approaching. The Winter Storm Warning and the forecast of overnight and morning snow accumulations gives us great concern for the driving conditions and safety of the staff and volunteers coming to the kitchens and delivering meals.
Home Delivered Meal clients are being notified by drivers and given a flyer to let them know we are closed. We were proactive and had weekend frozen come in today so that weekend clients would receive with today’s delivery.
Subaru Share the Love Event with Meals on Wheels America
Be part of the Subaru Share the Love Event by sharing love with Lake County seniors in the form of non-perishable food items. The Annual Blizzard Bag Food Drive is taking place until Tuesday, December 13th. Bring items to any Senior Center in Lake County, the Lake County Council on Aging office at 8520 East Ave in Mentor or come Stuff the Subaru Trunk on Wednesday, December 7th from 10am to 1pm at the Wickliffe Senior Center, Thursday, December 8th from 10 am to 1pm at the Madison Senior Center or Friday, December 9th from 11 am to 1pm at the Council on Aging East Ave office. Share non-perishable food Love with seniors!

2021 March for Meals Kick Off
This week kicks off our month-long #MarchForMeals celebration that not only celebrates our friends, family, and community supporters, but most importantly celebrates our beloved Lake County seniors!
Every dollar raised this month for March for Meals goes to our #MealsOnWheels program which provides thousands of meals every year to our seniors in need.
Join us with our month-long auction (new prizes added each week), virtual wine tasting night, virtual bingo night, and finally our virtual walk #together.
