Today, the Mentor Fire Department hosted a training for fire departments that are part of the West Lake County Fire Investigation Unit. The team meets several times each year to maintain proficiency and uphold professional standards.

Today’s training was led by members of the Ohio Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators and the Cleveland Heights Fire Department. We appreciate their time, professionalism, and willingness to share their experience.

Thank you as well to Walmart of Mentor and Lowe’s of Mentor for assisting with the drill.

Members of the Wickliffe, Eastlake, Kirtland, Willoughby, Mentor, and Mentor-on-the-Lake Fire Departments attended. Trainings like this strengthen our ability to work together and better serve the residents of Lake County.
