🕯️ 11 YEARS LATER…
Someone still knows what happened inside that home in rural Mercedes, Texas. In May 2015, Alberto Castañeda, 72, and his son Reynaldo Castañeda, 52, were found murdered inside their home near Mile 10 North and Mile 1 West in Hidalgo County.

11 years later:
No arrests.
No justice.
No closure.

Cold case investigators often say time changes everything. Relationships change. Fear changes. People who once stayed silent sometimes decide they can no longer carry the weight of what they know.

So we ask:
• Who saw something unusual before the murders?
• What happened during the final 72 hours?
• After 11 years… is someone finally ready to speak?

⚖️ No justice, no peace.

Congratulations to Chief Saul Solis and the Alamo Police Department on the groundbreaking of their new Public Safety Building. A huge milestone for the City of Alamo and its commitment to public safety. This building will be named and dedicated in memory of Retired Chief Arturo Espinoza, whose service, leadership, and legacy continue to live on.

It was an honor for the South Texas Police Chiefs Association to be present and witness this historic moment. In attendance were:
